Summer Vedanta Retreat at Morning Deer Farm – July 20-30, 2018
We are going to have a 10-day Vedanta camp July 20th to 30th. Our daily schedule will include guided meditation, Vedanta classes, and satsang.
This is a camping event; the climate will be hot this time of year and swimming in the river and sitting under the shade will be so refreshing! There are beautiful camping spaces available. If you prefer there is a very nice lodge just a few minutes down the road. Indian Creek Lodge (This lodge is often full so you may have to go on a waiting list.) The Old Lewiston Inn is also nice and nearby.
For those arriving by plane, you only need to bring your sleeping bag. We will have tents and mattresses available for you.
For those arriving by car, please bring all your camping gear with you – tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, etc.
We have plenty of gardening tools available for use but if you would like to bring your own tools (a clipper, pruning saw and a small knife), please feel free to do so.
We will appreciate your help to cover the cost of food and expenses. The suggested donation is $40 per day, but there are many ways to contribute so please don’t let funds stand in your way.
You can click here to let us know if you are able to attend and we will send you all the logistical information you will need. To see more information about this retreat and others, please visit the Arsha Kulam website .
I hope you can come. Please try to make it happen!
